Celebes House Reef

Celebes House Reef sits along the coast near Manado, on the northern tip of Sulawesi, Indonesia, an area bordered by the Bunaken National Marine Park and the wider Celebes Sea. House reefs in this stretch of coastline are typically accessed directly from shorefront dive resorts rather than by boat, entering over a sand bottom with light current and good visibility. It's a beginner site to around 18 metres, well suited to muck-style diving. Divers have reported frogfish, lionfish, mantis shrimp, mimic octopus, nudibranchs, octopus, and pipefish here, making it a good spot for slow, close-focused looks at small critters.
