About this site
Chachacual West Point lies along the Oaxaca coast near the Bahías de Huatulco area of southern Mexico, a stretch of Pacific shoreline known for its protected bays within Huatulco National Park. The site sits off a rocky point on the western side of Bahía Chachacual, an undeveloped bay reachable mainly by boat from Santa Cruz or Tangolunda. It is a wall dive rated advanced, consistent with the more exposed conditions found on the outer points of this coastline compared to the sheltered bays closer in.
