St.Agustin Island East

St. Agustin Island East lies off the coast of Oaxaca in southern Mexico, within the Pacific waters of Huatulco's national park area, and is reached by boat from the nearby coastal towns. The east side of the island is set up as a drift dive and is rated a beginner site. Divers have reported a mix of reef fish here, including Acapulco major, banded wrasse, Cortez rainbow wrasse, giant damselfish, Mexican hogfish, Panamic fanged blenny, Panamic sergeant major, and razor surgeonfish. The surrounding waters are known for their rocky islets and bays typical of this stretch of coastline.
