About this site
Challenger Rock lies off the coast of Western Australia, in the waters south of Perth near Rockingham and the Cape Peron area of the Shoalwater Bay region. The site takes its name from a rocky formation rising from the seabed in this stretch of coastline along the Indian Ocean.
