About this site

This site lies off Ayia Napa on the southeastern coast of Cyprus, in the Famagusta District, an area known for its rocky headlands along the Mediterranean coastline. Dive operators based in the Ayia Napa marina run trips to a number of reef and cave sites along this stretch of coast. Chapel itself reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres over a rocky bottom and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported damselfish, grouper, lionfish, nudibranchs, octopus, pufferfish and wrasse around the rocks here.
