Cocoa Out sits on the outer edge of North Male Atoll near Maafushi, in Kaafu Atoll, Maldives, reached by dhoni or speedboat from the nearby island resorts and guesthouses. Sites along this stretch of the atoll rim typically follow the reef edge where the lagoon drops toward open channel water. It reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated a beginner dive.
