About this site
Coconut Point is a dive site along the coastline of Apo Island, off Dauin in Negros Oriental in the Visayas region of the Philippines. The small island sits in the Bohol Sea and is ringed by a marine sanctuary, with its various named entry points reached by short outrigger boat rides from the shore. The site sits over a reef bottom and is rated an advanced dive, with medium current that divers have also flagged as running strong at times. Parrotfish, snapper, trevally, and triggerfish are common on the reef, and divers have also reported bannerfish, jacks or amberjacks, and sea turtles passing through.
