About this site

Boluarte is a reef dive site off Apo Island, near Dauin on the coast of Negros Oriental in the Visayas region of the Philippines. Apo Island sits a short boat ride from the Dauin mainland and is ringed by a marine reserve with a number of named entry points along its coastline. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres over a reef bottom and is rated an intermediate dive. Trevally are a regular sight here, and divers have also reported frogfish, grouper, mandarinfish, parrotfish, sea turtles, snapper, sweetlips, and unicornfish along the reef.
