Collin Bambous lies off Rivière Noire, on the west coast of Mauritius in the southern Indian Ocean. Dive sites in this stretch are typically reached by boat from nearby coastal villages. Divers here have reported button stars and spotted linckia on the bottom, along with dusky surgeonfish, Hawaiian convict surgeonfish, Moorish idols, and raccoon butterflyfish moving over the reef, and spinner dolphins have also been seen in the area.
