About this site
Coral Cavern lies off North Abaco in the Bahamas, in the waters of the Little Bahama Bank northeast of Grand Bahama Island, where shallow banks give way to deeper channels and open ocean. The site is a cave dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated beginner. It has an overhead environment and sits near a wall edge in open water close to deep water, so depth and proximity to the drop-off are worth keeping in mind. Divers have reported barracuda, grouper, nurse sharks, nudibranchs, and even dugong sightings around the site.
