About this site
Coral Garden lies off Playa Bavaro in Punta Cana, in the La Altagracia province on the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic, facing the Atlantic side of the island. Dive operators along this stretch of coast run boats out to shallow reef patches close to shore, in the waters off Bavaro's resort strip. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 8.2 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it an easy option over the shallow reef.
