Coral Garden lies along the Musandam Peninsula in northern Oman, a rugged coastline of fjord-like inlets known locally as the khors, jutting into the Strait of Hormuz. Dive sites in this area are typically reached by boat from towns such as Khasab, threading between steep limestone cliffs that drop straight into the water. Coral Garden itself reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers here have also reported green sea turtles on the reef.
