About this site
Coral Garden is a shallow reef dive site located within Watamu Marine National Park, near Malindi on the northern coast of Kenya. It is characterised by beautiful coral formations and is accessible to Open Water certified divers.
The site features shallow diving over reef terrain with colourful coral formations. As part of Watamu Marine National Park, the reef also includes caves, channels, and drop-offs in the broader park area, though Coral Garden itself is noted as a shallow dive.
The best time to dive Coral Garden is October to April, when water visibility is at its best. Reef fish are the primary marine life encountered here.
