North Wall

Njao Island lies off the western coast of Pemba, part of the Zanzibar Archipelago in Tanzania, within the channel waters separating Pemba from the Tanzanian mainland. The North Wall takes its name from a wall feature on the island's northern side, an area known generally for the steep drop-offs and channel currents typical of Pemba's coastline. It is rated an intermediate dive, and boats typically launch from operators based on Pemba itself. Divers here have reported hammerhead sharks, parrotfish, and trevally along the wall.
