About this site
Coral Garden is a reef on the west side of Isla Solarte, about 10 minutes by boat from Isla Colon in Bocas del Toro, Panama. It is open to all skill levels, with depths of 4 to 18 m and a maximum of about 33 m (100 feet).
The reef holds some of the healthiest and most colourful coral in Bocas del Toro, with vivid sponges and large schools of tropical fish. A shelf known as Grandma's Garden is shallow enough for snorkellers. Large rays are common, and endangered hawksbill turtles visit between April and June.
