About this site

Buoyline lies off Bastimentos Island in the Bocas del Toro archipelago on Panama's Caribbean coast, an area of mangrove channels, reef patches, and small islands northwest of the mainland. Dive operators based in Bocas del Toro town run trips out to sites around Bastimentos and the nearby cayes. The site sits over a sand bottom and reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres, making it a beginner dive. Divers here have reported moray eels, pufferfish, scorpionfish, seahorses, and stingrays.
