Coral Gardens lies off Ambergris Caye, Belize's largest island, within the Belize Barrier Reef system in the Belize District. Sites along this stretch of reef are typically reached by short boat trips from San Pedro, the island's main town. The reef bottom here reaches a maximum depth of around 19.8 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Lobster are found among the coral formations.
