About this site
Cousin Island lies just off the southwest coast of Praslin in the Seychelles, near Grand'Anse Praslin. It is best known as a protected nature reserve managed for seabird and turtle conservation, and the surrounding waters draw divers to the granite formations typical of this part of the inner Seychelles islands. The island itself is a small, steep-sided granite outcrop rising from the Indian Ocean. The reef around it is a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of about 18 metres.
