About this site
Whale Rock lies off Grand'Anse Praslin in the Seychelles, on the western side of the Indian Ocean archipelago, and is typically reached by boat from Praslin rather than Mahé. The site is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is rated intermediate. Divers have reported lionfish here, and whale sharks have also been spotted passing the site.
