About this site
Croc Caverns lies along the fringing reef of Rarotonga, the largest of the Cook Islands, in the South Pacific, typically reached by boat from operators based near Avarua, where the reef drops off into deeper water beyond the lagoon edge. The site is a cave dive rated technical, with a maximum depth of around 12 metres. Divers here have reported lionfish, moray eels, and reef sharks around the cavern structures.
