About this site
This freshwater quarry offers excellent visibility and sheltered conditions, ideal for training and exploration. Submerged platforms, sunken boats, and a helicopter fuselage create an artificial reef teeming with perch, pike, and crayfish. Depths reach 20 meters, with thermoclines adding interest. The shallow areas feature submerged trees and a mock aircraft wreck, while deeper sections reveal dramatic rock formations. Cold water year-round, best suited for drysuit divers. Easy shore access and onsite facilities make it a popular choice for UK divers.
