About this site

Hidden in Cuba's Jardines de la Reina, this site features a stunning underwater cavern system. Large openings allow sunlight to filter through, creating dramatic light effects. Octopuses frequently inhabit the cave, giving the site its name. Healthy coral formations surround the entrance, attracting reef fish and occasional nurse sharks. The dive is best suited for intermediate divers due to mild currents and the need for good buoyancy control inside the cavern. Water clarity is excellent, often exceeding 30 meters visibility. Depths range from 5 to 15 meters, making it accessible for most divers. The combination of cave exploration and vibrant marine life makes this a unique Caribbean experience.
