About this site
Mogote lies among the Cayos Piñones within Jardines de la Reina, the protected archipelago off the south central coast of Cuba, well offshore from the mainland in the Gulf of Ana Maria. This chain of cays and reefs is reachable only by liveaboard, given its distance from shore and its status as a marine reserve. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 17 metres.
