About this site
Dagong Island (大公岛) is a boat dive off Qingdao on a gentle rocky slope to 20 m, with visibility of around 10 m. Crabs, sea snails, abalone, shellfish and fish schools live on the bottom; the island's cliffs and crevices make it a seabird colony and the surrounding water is a local fishing ground. Season is July to October with 26–28 °C water, dived in a 3 mm suit.
