Davey Jone's Locker

Davey Jone's Locker is a dive site off Roatan, the largest of Honduras's Bay Islands, part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef system in the Caribbean Sea. Like most sites here it's reached by a short boat ride from operators based in towns such as West End, West Bay, or French Harbour, along a coastline where the fringing reef drops off into deeper water. Divers have reported a lively reef community on this site, including Atlantic blue tang, stoplight and striped parrotfish, bluestriped grunts, four-eyed butterflyfish, longspine squirrelfish, and Caribbean bluehead wrasse, along with Atlantic sergeant majors and long-spined sea urchins tucked into the reef structure.
