About this site
Blue Channel lies off Roatan, one of the Bay Islands of Honduras, part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef system. It sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 6.1 metres, making it a beginner dive typically reached by short boat rides from operators based in West End or West Bay. Barracuda and eagle rays are regularly seen here, and divers have also reported glassfish, moray eels, nudibranchs, pipefish, sea turtles, snapper, and stingrays on the reef.
