About this site
De Costa Bay lies along the Protaras coastline in the Paralimni area of the Famagusta District, on Cyprus's southeastern shore. This stretch of coast is known for its rocky coves and clear inshore waters, with dive operators based in nearby Protaras and Ayia Napa running trips to sites along this part of the coastline. The site sits over a rocky bottom and reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it a beginner dive. Divers have reported lionfish, octopus, pufferfish, and wrasse around the rocks here.
