About this site

Green Bay sits along the coast near Protaras, in the Paralimni area of the Famagusta District in southeastern Cyprus. This stretch of coastline is known for its shallow, sheltered inlets and rocky shoreline, typical of the Protaras area's popular swimming and snorkeling spots. The dive site itself is a beginner site over a sandy bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 10 metres with no current and great visibility. Octopus, sea turtles, and seahorses are regularly encountered here, and divers have also reported barracuda, damselfish, lionfish, pufferfish, squid, and wrasse.
