About this site
Deep Blinders lies off the Western Cape coast of South Africa, in the waters near Knysna and Plettenberg Bay along the Garden Route coastline, and is typically reached by boat from the local harbours. It is a reef dive suited to beginners, with a maximum depth of around 13 metres. Divers here have reported cuttlefish, dolphins, leopard (zebra) sharks, nudibranchs, octopus, and scorpionfish along the reef.
