Deep Flats offers a thrilling drift dive along a sandy plateau in South Africa's warm waters. Strong currents attract large pelagics like ragged-tooth sharks and rays, while the sandy bottom reveals hidden critters like frogfish and nudibranchs. Visibility varies but often reaches 15 meters, with depths from 12 to 30 meters. The site's gentle slope makes it accessible for intermediate divers, while the abundant marine life keeps advanced divers engaged. Expect encounters with schools of gamefish and occasional dolphins passing through. Best dived in calm conditions when the current isn't too strong.
