About this site
Dega Thila is a thila, a submerged reef pinnacle rising from the atoll floor, in the Maldives. It reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is generally considered an intermediate dive. Divers exploring the pinnacle have also reported leaf scorpionfish tucked among the coral and nudibranchs on its slopes.
