About this site
Veli Kandu is a channel dive site in the Maldives, located at the pass where lagoon waters exchange with the open ocean. It reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is considered an advanced dive, as is typical for kandu (channel) sites where tidal flow through the pass can generate strong currents. Divers should be comfortable with drift diving conditions before booking this site.
