Dog Rocks

Dog Rocks lies off Dog Island near St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, on the rocky formations that ring the small islet just off the main island's coast. Sites in this area are typically reached by boat from marinas around St. Thomas. The dive here is rated beginner, reaching a maximum depth of about 13.7 metres over a rocky bottom. Lobster are common among the rocks, and the site also carries a mix of hard corals including boulder star, finger, lettuce, massive starlet, and mustard hill coral. Divers have also reported Atlantic blue tang, Caribbean bluehead wrasse, and sea turtles here.
