About this site
Doononge Point lies along the County Waterford coast in Munster, southeast Ireland, on a stretch of shoreline facing the Celtic Sea where rocky points and inlets are common features for boat and shore access. The dive here is a wall reaching a maximum depth of around 15.2 metres, rated technical and known for strong current. Divers have also reported caves and a wreck in the area, adding some navigational complexity to a site already made demanding by the water movement.
