About this site
Dscr South sits in the Islandia area of the upper Florida Keys, part of the chain of patch reefs and channel markers running along the Atlantic side between Key Largo and Biscayne National Park, and is accessed by boat from nearby marinas. It reaches a maximum depth of around 19.8 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported boat traffic as a hazard in the area, so keeping an eye on surface activity is worthwhile here.
