About this site
Du East Paradise (ドゥ・イーストパラダイス) is a reef site off Miyako Island, Okinawa. A gentle sand slope leads to a colony of several hundred garden eels at 18 m, and further out are large schools of sweepers and the fang blenny that mimics anthias, rare in Japan. Bicolour anthias and Kerama anthias also school here, making it a rich site for tropical reef fish.
