This dive site off Sal Island features dramatic underwater dunes formed by shifting sands, creating a unique seascape. Strong currents bring pelagic life like barracuda and rays, while the sandy bottom hosts garden eels and flounders. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters, with depths ranging 10-25 meters. The site offers drift diving opportunities along the dunes, where you might spot turtles or nurse sharks. Water temperatures stay warm year-round, averaging 24-28°C. The Atlantic swells can create challenging conditions, making it ideal for experienced divers.
