Eagle's Nest sits off Yap, one of the four main island groups of the Federated States of Micronesia in the western Pacific south of Guam. Yap's coastline is bordered by fringing reef and channels cut into the surrounding barrier reef, with dive sites like this one typically reached by short boat rides from Colonia and the nearby villages. Divers here have reported bluefin trevally, humpback snapper, humpnose bigeye bream, lined bristletooth, Pacific orange-spine unicornfish, and shadowfin soldierfish moving over the reef.
