About this site

East Point lies off Pamilacan Island, a small island south of Bohol in the Bohol Sea, part of the Visayas region of the Philippines. The waters around Pamilacan sit along a channel known for whale and dolphin sightings from boats, and the island's shoreline drops into deeper water not far from land. The dive site itself is a reef reaching a maximum depth of around 12 metres, rated as a beginner dive. Divers here have reported cuttlefish, nudibranchs, octopus, and pipefish on the reef, and there have even been reports of whales passing through the area.
