About this site
East Tangat Gunboat lies in the Coron area of Palawan, in the Philippines, a region known for its cluster of Japanese wrecks sunk during a 1944 American air raid in World War II. The wreck reaches a maximum depth of around 22 metres over a bottom of wreckage, and it is rated a beginner dive, making it one of the more approachable wrecks in Coron Bay for those still building experience around sunken structures.
