About this site
El Aquario I lies off Cayo Guillermo, a small key in Cuba's Jardines del Rey archipelago on the north coast of Ciego de Ávila province, facing the Gulf of Ana Maria. Dive boats out of the resorts and marinas serving the cays typically reach this site along with the other spots scattered through the area. Divers have also reported rough-toothed dolphins passing through here, though sightings of them are not something to expect on every trip.
