About this site
This dive site in Argentina's Golfo Nuevo features a sunken wooden shipwreck resting at 18 meters, now a thriving artificial reef. Schools of black drum fish swirl around the structure while sea stars and anemones cover the beams. Visibility often exceeds 10 meters in these calm Atlantic waters. The shallow depth makes it ideal for beginners, with occasional southern right whale sightings during migration season. The wreck's intact hull creates swim-through opportunities. Water temperatures range 10-16°C, requiring proper thermal protection.
