About this site
El Faro sits off Cayo Anclitas in the Jardines de la Reina archipelago, a protected string of coral cays off the southern coast of Cuba's Ciego de Avila province. This marine park is reached mainly by liveaboard boats operating out of Jucaro, given the remoteness of the cays from the mainland. The site is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it an accessible stop within the wider archipelago's offerings.
