About this site
El Jablito lies along the coast of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, off the volcanic shoreline of this eastern Atlantic archipelago belonging to Spain. The site sits over a rocky bottom typical of the island's black volcanic formations and reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres, making it a beginner dive. Divers have reported barracuda and octopus around the rocks here. It is typically reached by a short boat trip from the nearby coastal towns.
