About this site
El Valle De Vinales sits in the Gulf of Mexico off the northwest coast of Cuba, beyond the Pinar del Rio coastline that lies below the inland Vinales valley for which it takes its name. Dive sites along this stretch of Cuban coast are typically reached by boat from small fishing and tourism ports on the north shore. Divers here have reported Atlantic blue tang, purple sea fans, Sally Lightfoot crabs, and southern moon jellies.
