About this site
La Piedra Blanca sits off the western tip of Cuba, near the edge of the Gulf of Mexico where it meets the Yucatan Channel, well offshore of Pinar del Río province in an area known for steep drop-offs along Cuba's continental shelf. The site is a reef with a maximum depth of around 21 metres. Divers have reported eagle rays and reef sharks passing through here, though sightings are not a given on every dive.
