About this site
Elizabeth Bay offers a sheltered cove with calm waters, ideal for spotting marine iguanas, sea turtles, and playful sea lions. The shallow mangrove lagoons teem with juvenile fish, while deeper areas reveal rocky outcrops covered in colorful corals. Penguins dart through the clear water, and rays glide along the sandy bottom. Strong currents can occur, making it best for intermediate divers. The bay’s unique mix of mangroves and volcanic rock creates a rich ecosystem.
