Punta Morena sits in Ecuador's Galapagos Islands, along the exposed western side of the archipelago based on its coordinates. The site has a maximum depth of around 10 metres and is generally considered an intermediate dive. Divers here have reported hammerhead sharks and whale sharks passing through, though sightings of these larger animals are not a given on every dive.
