About this site
Ema Reefs lies off New Britain, part of the Bismarck Archipelago in Papua New Guinea's Melanesia region, reached by boat from nearby coastal settlements. The reef system here is built around lattice table coral, giving the site much of its structure. Divers have also reported blackspotted puffers and giant morays sheltering among the coral.
