Grande Comore is the largest island of the Comoros archipelago, in the Mozambique Channel between the African coast and Madagascar, and its shoreline is fringed by volcanic rock and coral reef built out from lava flows off Mount Karthala. A dive site named Enfag would be reached by boat from one of the coastal villages along this coast.
